Senior Management

Neil Goldstein, President and CSO, has served in this position at Antyra since May 2003 where he also serves on the Board of Directors.  In his role as CSO, Dr. Goldstein guides the basic research and preclinical programs at Antyra and interfaces with corporate partners and investors. He is also responsible for overseeing the Company’s cutting edge technologies. Dr. Goldstein is a co-inventor of several of Antyra’s technology modules. He has extensive pharmaceutical experience having held senior research positions at Immunomedics Inc. and Novartis. From 1988 to 1997, Dr. Goldstein was Director of Immunology at ImClone Systems Inc. and he co-founded an oncogenomics company, GenQuest Inc., where he served as Vice-President and Director of Molecular/Cell Biology.

John Prendergast, Executive Chairman and CEO, is a biopharmaceutical executive who has been involved in the financing and corporate development of early to mid-stage biotechnology companies over the past 15 years. He is a co-inventor of Antyra’s Phenogenix and Proteome Panning technology modules. He is a co-founder and currently serves on the boards of Avigen Inc., Palatin Technologies and Avax Technologies.  From 1991-1996, Dr. Prendergast was Managing Director of the Castle Group, a New York-based merchant bank where he was responsible for the identification and evaluation of products and technologies for the formation and development of a range of venture start-ups. He is currently the President of SummerCloud Bay Inc., a consulting practice specializing in these activities.
